Welcome to the Troop 839 website,

As the Scoutmaster, I am thrilled to lead such an incredible group of Scouts and dedicated adult leaders.

Our troop is committed to developing leadership skills, fostering friendships, and instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law in our Scouts. We strive to provide opportunities for our Scouts to challenge themselves and grow in a safe and supportive environment.

On this website, you will find information about our troop's upcoming events, meetings, and activities. We encourage you to explore the website, it is an excellent resource for staying up to date on troop news.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or one of our adult leaders.

Yours in Scouting,

Nathan Brownell

We meet every Monday except for the Monday following the monthly camping activity. Meetings are held from 7:00 to 8:39 at First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood, located at 5520 Kingwood Drive.

We have weekend campouts every month except during the Summer. We leave Kingwood from the parking lot of the church on Friday evening and return on Sunday afternoon to the parking lot at Luby's at the front of Kingwood. Most of our campouts are at BSA camps, state or national parks, or private land within 200 miles of Houston. Summer camp is usually one week during the summer. Winter camp is for three days in January. Scout leaders and parents provide transportation to and from campouts.
